NP1972 is an attempt to visualize data as a font. Therefore, the font looks like a matrix. This is a futuristic font that has square and sharp shapes, symmetry and monospacing. The font is very unusual and breathes cyberpunk.

The use of the font is very wide and it has two styles, sharp and rounded. Which gives you more opportunities to implement your ideas. Posters, headlines, logos, banners, covers, prints and much more.

Each letter is like a separate work of art, it is unusual and it is enough for a beautiful composition.

As the basis for this new font artist and designer Lena Schmidt used an old font design by her mother Jutta. At a young age, her mother drew and illustrated a lot with pen and ink. She made beautiful illustrations and many font designs. Schmidt chose one of these drafts - delicately drawn Donovan lyrics - as the basis for this digital handwritten stencil font. What emerged from it is a stencil text and display typeface that relates to Auriol's art nouveau typefaces and the era of impressionism.

Arpona is a typeface with small wedge serifs and a strong character, ideal for corporate design and all projects characterized by a sense of individualism – for example art, fashion, food, beverage and lifestyle topics.

Arpona is inspired by roman letters carved in stone but otherwise difficult to categorize. It is neither a pure serif nor a sans but rather a symbiosis of different design concepts. Because of its display qualities, Arpona is a good choice for packaging, advertising and editorial design and is well readable even in running text on screen.

The family has nine weights, ranging from Thin to Black plus corresponding italics. Each style includes 590 glyphs supporting all western-, eastern- and central-european languages including four sets of figures and various currency symbols.
